Nokia 10 fold increase - Not to worry! Although it is very difficult to tell from the stories, I think that the improvement that they have made is in the network capacity, not in the air interface. One Mobile Switching Center can handle many more base stations and they have made very small basestations so that, for instance, one subway station can have several weak basestations. This allows them to handle a much higher density of users. Clark
