Your four points prove the company is fully valued at 4. Can't take any negative surprises. There is a major slowdown occurring in tech product buying. ODIS neither has the margins, pricing power, nor the new revenue sources to handle avoidance of losses. But they do have a locked-in cost structure just waiting to grow as support becomes problematic. Existing customers will try to expand the capabilities of their installed DBMS and the yield on the support is far less than new sales. About the only constructive thing is the fact that the stock is under price compression. It can stay down for a long time bouncing off book though. There is nothing in the future that will bail this situation short of getting rid of Goldman or government attacking ORCL for monopolistic practices. Neither of these is at all likely. So it's worst of all worlds. Holding at a significant loss indefinitely. Dead money. It isn't surprising to see all the minnows dumping today. Normally that is good news. The give-up phase, but not with this dog. In the morning blocks were almost completely sell. Even for this stock that's rare. The afternoon saw some nibbling, but the supply is tremendous above. The true bid is 4, ask 4 1/16 which is an expression of complete disgust. What is this thread's reaction? Great earnings report! When I read that I could see the emperor's new clothes being readied. I also read how several of you were heralding Goldman. Unbelievable. Astounding. if you don't know what makes a provocative reason to buy stock, you shouldn't be involved with the stock market. At least you aren't holding Rentech like most of the fool public.
