THE next BIG KAHUNA is here ! AGRIBIOTECH (Nasdaq: ABTX) The company is up for sale and the value has been set for the high $30/40's depending on the analyst. Closed today at 14 3/16. I'm expecting a gap to $15 and then run like it did today. Wall Street Journal: "Corporate Focus" column (October 27,1998) focus on an in-depth article on ABTX. I particularly liked the following paragraph: "Deutsche Bank's Mr. Ramey says he sees a sale price above $45 a share. Berry Summerour, an analyst with Stephens Inc. in Little Rock, Ark., says Agribiotech could fetch $36 or more. He attributes Monday's gain to increased market interest as the company searches for a buyer and possible covering of short positions." I alerted LG to the options yesterday.
