Understand, however my indicators are for the very short term; therefore the moving averages I use are more in the 5-20 day range. I am not looking for a major trend change, just the fast up(1-3 points only).

In light of such, moving averages play less importance to the short term indicators I use. But I fully understand the importance of the moving averages (intermediate,long) to determine substantial trend changes.
