I'm not sure how it is with most brokers but my broker does not allow stock under $6 to be margin. I wouldn't worry about any margin calls especially after yesterday and today's trading activity. And I do not think the company buyback had anything to do with today's and yesterday's trading. So going forward it looks like if only the company buyback come into play were going up from here soon.
