Hi Morrie
Dean gave a good layman explanation for the pulse testing.
With the pulse testing that cambior will be carrying out on the La Plata they will be aided by the results from this years drill program.
They already know the basic geology and how the mineralized lens runs and is layered. Now when they pulse the lens from the different holes they will be able to interpret the return signature and compare that to the different holes with different mineralizations. It would be good for them to pulse some of the old holes that had low grade or no mineralization to use for a background reference. Also they would get a feel for what the return signature would look like off the lens and potential lenses they are searching for.
The pulsing will aid in determining the full extent of the Known lens and if another lens is close buy, eg within 300m.
The real key is will cambior decide to to a major drill program in 1999 in search of other potential lenses. That information will be out by mid to end November if the last two years is any guide.
