Ascend's sector rolatation. Major news like interest rates or group related will move any stock. Remember though, the short position is increasing in ASND yet the stock will continue moving up as shorts cover. A good example is IOMG. The shorts are at 20 million and falling. Check the chart and you will see this stock was at 18.00 a few weeks ago. Another is NSCP and AMER, both will hugh short positions. Look at Barron's for short positions on people who bet going down. Heavy shorts are in areas as internets, hardware (CPQ,DELL,GATE etc.) In my opinion ASND will be bought this year by a major bell company. Probably, Pac Bell... Watch ASND when it moves greater than 10% in a day. Shorts are in a panic! Want to squeeze them, buy the options (calls) qqalk dec 55 calls.
