Hey, guys, don't forget that these two companies may become one. DIS is cheaper than SEEK right now. What happens if they finally become one in a year or two? Also, which stock goes up when that happens? Multiply your gains by getting both. I am about 5 x 1 in favor of seek right now, but that could change with good new on Disney.
BTW: Don't forget the youth in the country (and the world). I am an old fart, but I have been using the internet/DARPAnet for over 16 years. The real people who started this surge haven't yet turned 35 (remember network DOOM and the havoc?), and the serious users are those under 25-28. Their kids aren't being born with a silver spoon in their mouth, but rather a computer. And these youth will still like Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck and the Little Mermaid and the Lion King, and they will get it over the internet via SEEK and DIS and other media not yet conceived. I love it. Uh-oh, maybe I should be on the mezz -- Nah, this is real and now. |
