Open interest for Nov 27.5 put is 57,499. These option will become worthless in 3 weeks. Dell is short around 45,000 contracts. The money is then free for repurchase program. Just like IBM, Dell should issue a press release for repurchasing its own stock. However, since this is an ongoing program, Dell might have to do it daily. (VBG)
