>>>IF Checkfree maintains leadership.

Looks as if TransPoint is on hold (somewhat) to me. Even in the last pilot announcement, there was no mention of delivering these bills to Citi's (or Wells) on-line banking platform. ConEd being able to present their own bill at their own web site is not a great accomplishment, IMO (edocs, cybercash, trisense, can all do this).

Banc One has cut ties with TransPoint, and has made it clear that the only way Banc One would receive bills from Transpoint is if they present bills through the Integrion Platform. It seems that Transpoint does not want to present bills through Integrion, most likely because CheckFree would still handle ALL the payments. In addition, I've heard rumors that Merrill has cut ties with TP. TP only has Three banks left...Wells, Key, and Mellon. I don't include PNC because that is a very limited business to business pilot. Key bank was originally announce a Year ago, and I haven't heard a peep, which is most likely good since TP will immediatly press release any good news they have. Mellon was supposed to start a pilot in late summer, hasn't happend yet.

Benny(sorry for the bullish thoughts)
