The federal government represents Cabletron's largest customer. Cabletron's award-winning Smart Networks, which include SPECTRUM network management and the SmartSwitch solutions, have been selected to facilitate such mission-critical applications as NASA's Mars Pathfinder, Fort Knox and the Navy's IT-21 ship-to-shore communications upgrade.
