Nancy, PS: don't feel lost. The BTTT parameters are all still in play. I'm just trying to find a way—a more mechanical way—to screen stocks. I want to find the common ground among those stocks that respond well to the traditional BTTT signals, and in this way avoid the ones that don't. I.e., some markets hit 75 Stochs. and keep trending up for weeks...and I'm assuming this sort of continuous strength is due to strong earnings and other positive fundamentals. And some hit 25, and show a buy signal, and continue trending down for weeks. Again, I assume poor fundamentals to be at play. In short, I am looking for a way to combine pure technical analysis with a further screen that takes fundamentals into account. It seems to me that the info. the IBD provides might prove a handy, purely objective tool toward this end. TC.
