OT Scanner "lower the resolution" Instead of lowering the resolution, you could take the picture into a viewer such as the shareware LVIEW.EXE and perform Edit/Resize. This can be saved as a JPG file and will have preserved a much better mapping of the detail than what is obtained by scanning at a low resolution. (It will interpret between the pixels and adjust colors). The compressed JPG image will take up less space on a web page or in e-mail than a scanned image. TP
