Matty, The naysayers understood very well that the holes were not important to the the cartel and their
self-interest. What you're missing is the fact that the squeeze could not work without recruiting more
people destined to lose their money. The squeeze was nothing but a pyramid scheme devised by
Morgan and others to inflate the value of a valueless corporation, IMO. There never was a shred of
proof that there was a large short position.

S, Riley hurt the cartel's cause by not going public with that list. But from what Riley tells us, they already had what they needed. I would have liked to see yeasayers come forward (like Ellen, who can be very convincing sometimes), and DJ Byrne

I ask Dan Merfeld, I ask Ellen, I ask Allen, I ask XNDRNJ, I ask Pugs, I ask Joey, I ask Kenny Low, and Daddy Bigs: have you guys seen the actual cartel list? Aside from all of the innuendo that connects Mork to Morgan, can you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, provide substantial evidence that a short squeeze exists? And I ask you to try to do this without attacking, as both sides are guilty. From my personal standpoint, it always seems that the inquiry of the naysayers gets attacked, but we are asking legitimate questions.

You say the cartel was persuaded by
faith ? I say they were persuaded by lies they refused to disavow.

Sometimes the difference is not clear cut, as evidenced in WWII Germany. The difference between Germany and the situation here is two-fold: 1)They admitted they were wrong, and 2)We didn't make them admit they were wrong.

I feel that the "naysayers".. and there were many, were helpful to a number of "original" cartel
members who actually did read the writing on the wall. Those who chose to close their eyes and
ears... are wallowing in self-pity and accusing all but the guilty.

That is probably the truth, s martin. And yes, there were many original cartel members that left before they were trapped within the halt. But there were many other original cartel members that didn't pay as much attention as we did, hence were fed information that was all positive to the "cause."

I mean, let's face it: the type of people you have to recruit for a cause are the type that are stubborn in nature, not willing to admit they're wrong, and are headstrong into the future. That doesn't make them bad people, but it does make them defensive when holes are discovered.
