All indicators have their tops and bottoms... Nothing goes in one direction forever... The fact that these indicators have now turned north is the most significant thing to me... That means that the market internals are improving... As these indicators continue to improve the market will rise and these indicators will move closer to their old highs... Direction of technical indicators means more to me than ultimate numbers...

Those following the McClellan Summation Index would have noticed a turnaround from its downslide early in the market recovery from the Dow 7400 lows...

The direction of the indicator (north) was the key to its trend... Waiting for an indicator to get back to its old highs means missing the largest part of a market recovery...
