definitive source of information within the industry, today released their annual list of the ten top grossing infomercials
for 1996.

This list is compiled from confidential sales figures supplied by most companies within the industry, and in-depth
statistical analysis. The figures reflect purely television sales alone and do not account for any retail sales. The top
grossing show was over $100 million.

Exercise Equipment

Four of the top ten infomercials feature fitness equipment. The remainder consist of three self-help products, a 900
psychic line, a multi-level marketing program and a music compilation.

Tying for first place with two shows each in the top ten are Infomercial Companies: TruVantage International and
Guthy-Renker Corp.
