Lucretius, Felt I had to comment on your comment in regard to the mainframe. It's far from 'replaced', still runs the Fortune 500, and will be around for some time to come. Legacy software is not easily replaced, and WIN NT (WIN2000 included) will not have the scalability and reliability of MVS for years. IBM is selling a bunch of mainframe MIPS, especially with their new G5 machine. Their stock is at all time highs.... John
