Smith, formerly the marketing manager for Fibre Channel Products at Adaptec Inc., has joined Emulex as its senior director of Fibre Channel Marketing. "Mike brings a wealth of experience in both I/O and fibre channel marketing which will significantly augment our emerging fibre channel sales effort," said Paul F. Folino, president and chief executive officer of Emulex. Prior to joining Adaptec, Mike spent 10 years with Western Digital Corp., most recently as their Director, Marketing I/O Solutions.
