Bob, re NVLS covered call writing: Your points are well taken and your NVLS purchases were not very different from mine including an initial "dummy" purchase over 38 and some averaging down. I just happened to "brilliantly" add to my holdings at 23 3/4 in preparation for taking a tax loss 31 days later which I have decided to just hold now that there's not much of a tax loss anymore and Bob Brinker sounds very strong on the long term outlook. Your strategy seems to be working well for you and I guess what it may come down to is you find covered call writing fun while at this point I would just find them a hassle complicating my life.
