Hi Scott and Everyone,
Still trying to shake the flu bug so please excuse the lateness in getting this post on SI.
Needless to say I was really pleased with the great movement in the stock last week. I'm sure we'll still see some volatility for awhile but I am very sure that we are starting to see all the pieces starting to come together. Some of us, including myself, probably still haven't realized the full scope of what DCI now has going for them. The more I speak with Bob Muller and Paul Bettencourt the more my eyes get opened. These two divisions alone will add significant numbers to DCI's bottom line. Great acquisitions!!!
Now, I had my follow-up conversation with Dick Sheppard of R&D Scientific Division last Friday afternoon. You talk about excitement. They are absolutely inundated with calls concerning A-Net (Wireless Probe). Dick has literally been on a whirlwind tour of the country satisfying requests to see and discuss possible contracts for A-Net.
For the remainder of January he has scheduled 9 more conferences with MAJOR companies in Connecticut, Maryland, Florida and California.
The same is happening with Alpha Products Division in regards to their Data-Safe products. Drug companies and blood banks have likewise been ringing the phone off the hook.
I expect that we will start to see some announcements coming between the middle and end of the month.
I will again be trying to get hold of Mr. Muller and Mr. Bettencourt sometime this week to see if I can get some more updates concerning their particular divisions.
Hope everyone enjoyed their New Year's celebrations and may we all prosper in 1997.
