As far as I am concerned, you did break up the fight between myself and bede. I am not interested, nor have I ever been interested in, fighting with him. I regret that we had a few tense exchanges, but as far as I am concerned, enough has been said and I won't pursue it further.
I would like to point out for the record, though, how our confrontation began. Please see my first post to bede on Monday morning Message 6161478 where I responded to a post from him. Notice that I suggested he and I keep our conversation private so as not to disrupt the thread. My intention was honorable, I thought at the time, only meant to discuss with him what I believed to be certain inaccurate statements made by him.
Unfortunately, he chose to continue it publicly and posted some inflammatory and slightly rude remarks to me Tuesday morning and today, which I responded to, challenging him to explain his original statements. I never intended to have words with bede on the thread, to waste everyone's time. You may notice lots of other messages I have posted elsewhere on S.I. having nothing to do with this matter. My interest is in trading, and I have good friends who trade with lots of different brokers.
Like I said, though, I am finished with this silly squabbling and I hope bede is also. In an effort to insure more tranquility here I shall use this opportunity to apologize publicly to bede for my remarks to him, hoping he will be gracious and accept my sincere apology and allow us to resume more important and friendly discussions.
And, Rick, thanks for your efforts to bring this unfortunate matter to a quick and peaceful close. I feel you have succeeded. Now, who's knows a good broker........ errr......Clinton joke?
