According to IBM's Q3 press release:
<<Overall software revenues totaled $3.2 billion, up 5 percent (8 percent at constant currency) compared with the third quarter of 1997. Revenues grew strongly in database, AS/400 and Tivoli systems management software. The overall software gross profit margin rose 4.3 points to 74.6 percent.>>
Which, basically, tells you nothing. It is instructive, however, to periodically visit the Tivoli web site and view the news releases. They continue to announce customer wins and new features/alliances.
BTW, a guy at the Tivoli booth at Interop told me they have some press releases in the works about customers dumping Unicenter and replacing it with Tivoli. I have no idea if this is true or when it will happen, but we shall see.
BTW again, it is instructive to note that years after the acquisition, Tivoli is still Tivoli, just like IBM said it would be. Cheyenne, however, has vanished off the face of the earth, despite Charlie boy's endless promises that it would remaind "a separate subsidiary." Uh huh. Sure it will.
