1. Thanks for clarifying the issue about 1999 earnings. You think they will be slightly negative, I think they will be better than 1998.

2. Just a snippet regarding inflation. I know Australia's economy is much smaller than the US economy, and the fundamentals are a bit diferent. But our September quarter inflation figure, announced yesterday, was 0.2% for the whole quarter. The past 12 months have been 1.5% total inflation. Since our dollar has really tanked against the greenback, we had strong inflationary pressures from our USD denominated inputs. There is no evidence at all of emerging inflation in Austarlia.
