(NewsTraders) -- Three insiders purchased a total of 21,000 shares of Apria Healthcare Group Inc. (AHG) on October 26, according to paper Form 4 filings released by the SEC today.

CEO Philip Carter bought 15,000 shares at $3.77 apiece, raising his ownership in the company to 25,000.

Apria's general counsel, senior VP and secretary, Robert Holcomb, purchased 5,000 shares at $3.50 and $3.63 per share. He currently controls 10,1000 Apria shares.

President and Chief Operating Officer Lawrence Higby acquired 1,000 shares at $3.44 per share, doubling his stake in the company to 2,000 shares.
