I would never short a stock that had good earnings and set a 2/1 stock split. The momentum is on the side of the longs right now and going to the old highs seems to be getting closer by the day. People watch the charts and when the charts firm up it brings more people on board. In fact it seems to me hard to short any stock right now because even the dogs are showing some legs. One other note, if you short and it goes against you, realize that when they spit you now have double your short position. Then realize that spits do things to investors to make them more bullish. I'm long so probably not a good advisor to shorting but that's how I see it.
