Please understand that the guys that got busted were promoters, busted for illegally promoting stocks on the Internet. The market makers are a different breed of cat altogether. But your point is well taken. One of the guys that got busted today made (it appears) over a million bucks and "settled" with the SEC with no jail time. What that means is the dude ripped off a million bucks and then gave some of it to the SEC, who said "Stop doing what you were doing." If the guy paid 50% tax and paid the SEC a hundred grand, he still keeps 400 grand for 6 months "work". The losers are the boneheads that bought the stock. But that won't stop them from buying the next piece of carp that comes down the cyberpike, greed is a powerful thing indeed. All we can do is torment these paid shills. Try it, it's fun. Excellent alias, BTW.
