Hi all, I am posting a note I received from Sam. He is asking if anyone knows of any Vector owners. MK Mary Kay: I thought I'd tell you a few ideas I had while reading “Tech Stocks” the other day. First, I was told, by a very good GOVERNMENT source, that Vector was looking to import a Marcos (http://www.marcos.co.uk/) from England for evaluation. Marcos is the car that they want to sell in the US for under $100k. Vector is not THAT well financed. Second, someone posted the question “who could buy Vector?” Anyone could. No one would want to. As much I like the car, Vector, the company has nothing to offer any outside buyer. Vector has only limited name recognition and has no engineering staff to speak of. Their racing “successes” have been media hype and that's all. A “third place finish” in one of the races was out of three cars! I'm not trying to be a downer, I'm just looking at the situation realistically. I am trying to put together another Vector project. If you could, would you ask the “TechStocks” group for any information on any individual Vectors or their owners? If they know any owners, would they put them in touch with me? I have a good start on a “registry” of Vectors around the world and I want it to me more complete. I'd appreciate it if you just asked...thanks.
