He sound very positive about the future. "We are extremely pleased with our first quarter results which represent the best start of a fiscal year in our history," said Michael Gorin, President. "On a 32% increase in net sales, net income almost doubled and earnings per share increased 50% to $.12 per share. Our backlog of orders at September 30, 1998 was approximately $79 million compared to $52 million a year earlier. Our business outlook continues to look favorable and we expect to report further gains in operating results as the fiscal year progresses."
