Kerry,

Just checking in here. Reading between the lines, Ken mentioned companies have different certification process. I interpreted that as some deals are way past the functional testing stage and onto the 'certification phase'. It means some deals can come through at any time . He listed 4 major improvements since last conference call, 1. Inrange deal. 2. Ability to attract key personels. 3. The new 8-port switch. 4. Netmark partnership. I'm a bit surprised about the Netmark mentioning. It means to me that Netmark is considered an important accomplishment. The Boeing 1.9M order didn't even make his list. FWIW, my interpretation of the Inrange deal is that, 7Millions is non-cancellable license fee. As long as Ancor can deliver the new design(Cal said it is not going to be new invention) to be incorporated with Inrange's product line, Ancor would have fulfilled their part of the bargain. The 2 Million loyalty includes support and products to be shipped. The more products sold by Inrange, the more revenue for Ancor in the future. Inrange is into mainframe business, head to head competition with McData. This market will be huge. When fully realized, it is better than a tier 1 OEM on my book. Ken and Cal displayed untraditional optimism. I agree with you, they are confident and may have something up their sleeves.

KJ
