Bernie, The fundamental "news" is still negative. Their debt was downgraded by S+P today. They have alot of initiatives going into 1997, but that will have to wait. WallStreet has been burned too many times expecting the good news to go to the bottom line. Wall Street firms have "reit sell" recomendations. (yesterday) Fund managers have a herd mentality and will not step up to the plate unless research firms are on their side. It trades at the bid all the time. I do not know if "sell stops" are accumulating below $23. AAPL might need another washout before any rally can be sustained. Explain how you got a breakout on the weekly charts. AAPL has not broken any monthly highs since $41. Good trading
