U.S. OPTIONS/Index vols dip, anxiety eases
CHICAGO, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Implied volatility on stock index options dipped on Wednesday as anxiety in the market eased after Brazil unveiled details of its $84 billion austerity package aimed at shoring up its economy.

''It was a relief,'' an options trader said of the package. Rumors late Tuesday that Brazil would devalue its currency had kept implied volatility well bid, he said..

''It seems there isn't a lot of worry out there at the moment,'' the trader said.
