Philip and Mr. Jackson, Do you know the owners of Cellular One in Chicago. One reason I ask is that Cellular One is just the brand name for the majority of Non-Wireline Cellular Companies that have linked together for a National Footprint. In other words, the cellular licences that were auctioned to the non-Local RBOC are the non-wireline Companies. This results in the paradox that wireline companies in some markets are non-wireline in other markets. Even though AT&T/McCaw owns the bulk of the non-wireline markets, and hence the majority of Cellular One franchises, there are some RBOCs such as Nynex and Bell Atlantic that own non-wireline franchises in some markets such as Phoenix. I just don't know if these two also own the Cellular One franchise in Chicago. It would be a coincidence if they did. In fact, I thought it was Southwestern Bell or GTE that was in the Cellular One franchise in Chicago but this is kind of a vague guess.
