Don't be fooled by this. The ducks walk down with down and get plucked. Let's explore the significance of $5 million investment for Newmont. They have total assets of US$3.5 billion. They have working capital of US$275 million. How can a $5 million investment help this scenario? Are they expecting a 2000 to one return? I warned you about the snooze effect, didn't I? What am I missing?
