Cheeky, short sellers serve a legitimate function in the market place. They screw the retail investor and line the pockets of market making firms. Isn't that what it's been all about for over 100 years?

I recently saw the value of one of my investments drop over 90% [IELSF: Nasdaq small cap] due to illegal short selling activities by so called "floorless bandits."

In my opinion, the SEC went after the easy pickens to gain a few headlines and left the real crooks alone. Hell, many of those charged had already been "outed" here on S.I.
