Corporate PC Budgets To Drop After 2000 techweb.com This story focuses on large corporations, however, it is consistent with what small businesses are planning on. Most of my small business clients simply need to purchase an update to their current software to take care of the YK2 problem; and most of them plan to buy new hardware at the same time - they don't give this purchase much thought either because computers are so inexpensive now. The buying peak prior to YK2 is probably being underestimated.
