IBM Global Network comes with a throughput of 197 Bytes/second.

Isn't that great? Incredible, how far a datastream can sink after experiencing IBM's great technology.

However, what for huge bandwith? Nevertheless their "SLIP"-protocol produces many hangers - impossible to load quote.com or interquote.

Guess those 14.400 - (it's a lie...) connections were causing IBM to limit the "Unlimited access" to 100 hours a month. Just 9 (nine) cities in Spain have "fast" (28.800) accesspoints - anywhere else you have the "choice" between long-distance-rates and IBM's typical speed of thinking.

Just downloading a few mails consumpts more than 1 hour...

I love this great american technology. Of course I wrote a mail. Of course I got no response. At least so far - it's 6 month ago, and for IBM this could be a normal time for thinking about 10 lines of a "customer" (better term: payer).

I'll never again buy IBM-stocks, I swear, as long as I "live" with that kind of great services.

Jury - Cyber-traveller with "made in US"-brakes.

PS: A great "SORRY" to IBM - after posting that, their transfer-speed has increased at 204 bytes/second - honesty!
PPS: It's the speed loading down actual dialer-softwar - thus a direct connection without using internet-browsers or special protocol-software.
