What do you mean SELL is slippery to get executions on?

I'm still with my browser-based broker (for just a little while longer), and I trade DELL.

Put in a limit order.
They feed to to a MM, lets say NITE gets it.
I see NITE display my order on the Level II and then when the inside quote matches my limit I see an execution.

How is it different with MB Traders (other than we select the MM or ECN to use ourselves)? What's "slippery" about buying the stock?
