Volume Does the split make a diff. After the first couple of splits the volume went up. The stock was noticed and there was more to trade. After the last couple the listings for average volume are doubled after the split but the actual volume does not double. More is being held. I think the number of short term traders does not double after a split and they tend to trade roughly the same volume as they did before the split. Of course on really big days it can get Really Big. TP
