JT; RE:" IBM.NET "

Laffing about your IBM.NET experiences, Jury. My old ThinkPad 760ED is a beautiful thing, really - a little jewel-box. I remember when I was given a Compaq Armada - it was ugly by comparison - but, built like a panzer. Ended up leaving the IBM on my desk and taking the CPQ everywhere. The ThinkPad was like a Ferrari - you just want to ooh and ahh and park it in front of the club (but god forbid you should have to drive it hard on a twisty mountain road). The Armada was like an over-powered American Corvette - you just want to go out to some lonesome highway and punch it (^_^)

We must be talking about two different things, this IBM.NET... I remember finding 56K and ISDN dial-up connections in most (northern) EU cities -?
