But four weeks ago there was a definite darker tone to the conversations. What goes on there is no more helpful in predicting what is going to happen than looking out the window to see how many people have umbrellas open will predict whether it will rain next week. Just keep your eye on the heretofore unheard-of level of valuations for common stocks.
