Gary,

How stupid do you think we are? Y2K is a big problem and we all know that. But that has NOTHING to do with Dell's decision to migrate from NetWare to NT!!!

NetWare 3.x and 4.x code is Y2K compliant with a simple patch to the system. Please explain to me why a company with such a large infrastructure of NetWare servers would get into such a HUGE HUGE migration project to solve the Y2K issue when all they had to do is patch their current systems?

Dell is not crazy at all. The problem is that no one really knows what true political reasons are behind Dell's decision to migrate from NetWare to NT. It has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE Y2K ISSUE! Get that fact straight right here and now.
