key components include the design and fabrication of fibre-channel boards, both on the server and storage cabinet side, the fibre hubs, pretty much everything but the industry-standard disks and power supply components. These are not in short supply but there is no 'standard' source for them. HP is the supplier of the 'Tachyon' chip which does most of the FCAL work, and CPQ is the biggest supplier of integrated fibre components - HP uses CPQ components in their offerings.
