Labor costs are higher than advertising costs for most retailers. Fulfillment, is labor. Which do you believe is higher?

AMZN does not (to the best of my knowledge) have very high labor costs, especially compared to traditional retailers. Most internet catalog companies should be highly efficient in this regard.

I did also note administrative costs have jumped significantly. I guess that could be an indication that maybe AMZN has been on a hiring spree. I can only assume that is from the CD business startup and/or recent acquisitions.

One can't really read too much into that SEC report, but speculation can be fun.
