Ever read anything about chaos theory? I know there are market analysis techniques based on it, but don't know anything about them. The market is chaotic because of the large number of variables and non-linear relationships between them and therefore truly unpredictable (unless you happen to know the present state of all the variables, all their initial conditions and all the equations that describe them).
