>>Whether or not some model says he overpaid for CMB puts probably never entered his head<<

nothing enters this titanium allow ;-)

i've taught so many people all i know and they alls till don't know nothin' ;-)

hey, with regard to mu, it hasn't been as big a loser as some would think. i took a smack when i went long on nfli and got whacked but good. xlnx was a loser. i had to admit that people were that just dumb... ;-)

my biggest loser was when i bought txn oct 120 puts for $3.50 or so. sold after earnings for a little above $2.00 - a few weeks before theyw ere trading at $30. OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWUUUUUUUCH!

but, i lost b/c of a systemic deficit. i wasn't buying mu puts in the high $40s and $50s b/c i was shell shocked at dram pricing collapsing and the pimps pimping the stock up - at the same time! what a disconnect! like a deer in the headlights, i wasn't prepared.

the put buying was sound. i didn't follow through with the system. btw, i had many more losers than winners, but the couple of winners were sweet :-)
