No, I certainly don't think you are persecuting me. Making me cranky with I perceive as smugness, maybe!-- but persecuting, no. As regards an extended dialog about atheism-- it's a slightly askew concept, I think, because it really wouldn't be possible to assume of any atheist that he or she shared with other atheists anything other than the belief that an external God-entity is a figment of the human imagination. Atheism itself isn't an edifice. It is a statement about an edifice.
