Teacher testing. <<Just a hypothetical... what if they did institute a test, and no candidates came forward who could pass the test. I suspect that would be the case btw.>> Easy, no one will fail. We would just lower the standards so that their self esteem doesn't suffer. And institute lower standards in the Teacher Preparation programs, so all the teacher wannabees can feel good about themselves and their professors, and pass that on to their future students. Wait, we've already done the teacher preparation piece. We just need to implement the watered down tests to prove how successful it was. What is the problem?
