Actually, they do. They need people to stock the bins, pull the orders, pack the boxes and ship the orders. Lots of labor.

In that case it will even be even a lot longer before AMZN can produce enough profit to support the current market cap. At the current price it'll take them 10+ years just to bring the P/E down below 50. And some would claim that is 2X too high for any retailer.

FWIW - I have no position in AMZN right now. I'll probably try to short it after Q4 earnings though or if they do a big secondary sometime. I doubt I could get shares borrowed now if I tried. I do think AMZN is a fine company though - just grossly overvalued.
