Kaiser says results continue to satisfy market

Argentina Gold Corp ARP
Shares issued 33,113,389 Oct 28 close $2.40
Thu 29 Oct 98 In the News
John Kaiser, writing in a Kaiser Express of Oct. 29 1998, says Argentina Gold assays released on Oct. 26 met market expectations. Mr. Kaiser talked of Argentina at $2.70 earlier this month; at the time of his latest report the stock traded at $2.40. Noting that more assays are expected early next week, the letter writer says the important hole at Veladero is No. 84, which may determine whether ARP is a one-hole wonder based on hole No. 80.
Mr. Kaiser tells his subscribers that his preferred strategy is to avoid the stock in favour of other companies active in Argentina, warning Argentina could be subject to a 50 per cent drop if No. 84 fails to improve on No. 80. Based on $300 gold, Veladero would need to yield 195 million tons of 0.13 ounces per ton gold; based on $400 gold, Veladero needs only 0.085 ounces per ton. If Veladero emerges with these kinds of numbers, the stock would be worth $16.30 a share based on 36.8 million shares fully
diluted, Mr. Kaiser calculates.
