T.R. I'm sure Lou Gerstner is a bit more aware of IBM's PC roadmap than you or I. Of course IBM will continue to have a presence in this area, especially in the technology heavy parts of it, such as laptops. His statement had more to do with the direction of computing, with data residing on networks, accessible via PC's and cheaper appliances... John
